WMB TV – Episode 20 – Tip Predictions for 21st/22nd Jan 2017

Saturday’s games – 21st January 2017

Liverpool v Swansea

  • Will (Paul Clement used to be his manager) – “Liverpool are undefeated in their last 7 league games but getting away with it. Cup wise. Scraped a win at Plymouth. Drew the first leg. Lost to Southampton in FA Cup. Drew to Sunderland before that. Think this is a little slump.” Match Outcome – Draw
  • Tom – “I can’t see anything other than a Liverpool win here. However the odds for Liverpool win aren’t great, so boost them slightly with HT and FT.” Half-time/Full-time – Liverpool/Liverpool
  • Olly – “Milner has found the back of the net in each of his last 3 Premier League appearances against Swansea and he has never lost a Premier League game in which he’s scored. Combine those and we are onto a winner.” Wincast – James Milner to score and Liverpool to win

Bournemouth v Watford

  • Will – “Bournemouth have conceded 9 in 3 games. Actually conceded 3 goals in 7 of their last 10 games. Watford haven’t won a league game since 10th Dec v Everton. I’m backing a stalemate.” Match Outcome – Draw
  • Tom – “Going on the last few games this is likely.” Team to score first – Bournemouth
  • Olly – “Watford have failed to score in their last 3 away matches and Bournemouth are struggling a bit with consistency. Cant see there being many goals in this one.” Total Goals – Over/Under 2.5 – Under

Crystal Palace v Everton

  • Will – “Everton just battered Man City and Southampton without conceding a goal compared to Palace who have failed to win their last 7.” Match Outcome – Everton
  • Tom – “Everton are erratic, people will back them but they’ve let me down too many times before” Match Outcome – Draw
  • Olly – “Crystal Palace have been losing at both half time and full time in 6 of their last 7 home matches. Everton have scored at least 2 goals in 6 of their last 7 matches. Everton should win this and in doing so, Lukaku should be on the scoresheet.” Wincast – Romelu Lukaku to score and Everton to win

Middlesborough v West Ham

Stoke v Man Utd

West Brom v Sunderland

Man City v Spurs

  • Will – “City have lost more games in their last 8 than they did in their previous 24 while Tottenham have won 6 games on the bounce including a comfortable win over the league leaders. To make matters worse, Spurs have scored 19 goals in that time while only conceding 3. City should be very worried.” Match Outcome – Tottenham Hotspur
  • Tom – “I hate to say it, but I think this could happen. Spurs are flying, but with Vertonghen out and with Aguero back I reckon City will score. Big odds for this too.” Tottenham Hotspur To Win And Both Teams To Score
  • Olly – “Spurs and Harry Kane are FLYING. City are in a whole world of trouble with form and injuries. Can see spurs winning this comfortably (maybe 3-1).” Wincast – Harry Kane to score and Tottenham Hotspur to win

Sunday’s games – 21st January 2017

Southampton v Leicester

  • Will – “Saints are still recovering after stacked Xmas fixture schedule and had another tough 2 weeks with 2x FA Cup, league football and League cup. They are conceding so many late goals and have lost last 4 league games.” Match Outcome – Leicester City
  • Tom – “Can’t see many goals in this. Leicester are missing Mahrez and Slimani, and Saints are struggling in front of goal.” Total Goals – Over/Under 2.5 – Under
  • Olly – “Southampton have lost their last 4 matches. Leicester have failed to win their last 12 away matches. Draw written all over this one! No Mahrez = No goals. No Austin = No goals. Both teams are BLUNT. Stalemate.” Match Outcome – Draw

Arsenal v Burnley

Chelsea v Hull

  • Will – “Chelsea + Hazard to score. Prob a pen. Hull have conceded 10 penalties this season – only one side in Premier League history has conceded more in a campaign (Blackburn in 2006/07, 11) … And there’s 17 games left.” Wincast – Eden Hazard to score and Chelsea to win
  • Tom – “He’s going to bag this week, due a goal. Hull have picked up since the new gaffer has come in, but I don’t see them causing the Champions elect too many issues.” To score at any time – Eden Hazard
  • Olly – “There have been over 2.5 goals scored in 9 of Chelsea’s last 10 home games. Think there will be loads in this game too” Total Goals – Over/Under 2.5 – Over

  • Will – “5 away wins! Based on form and genius.” 5 Fold Accumulator
  • Tom – “Palace v Everton could easily be a draw. WBA are decent at home. Stoke usually score at the Britannia, and Boro are dull.” 4 Fold Accumulator
  • Olly – “Now THIS tip is bloody good. Carroll on fire (confidence player) against a poor Boro. Same with Kane and Spurs. Palace are shocking Lukaku should be on the scoresheet. Bournemouth vs Watford will be a snorrrfest. I mean, LOOK AT IT. Great bet. Lump it on.” 4 Fold Accumulator
