WMB TV – Episode 23 – Premiership Tips

Saturday 4th February

Chelsea v Arsenal

  • Tom – “Arsenal blew their chance midweek against Watford, Chelsea are way more clinical. Pedro is looking lively, so I fancy him to notch. Chelsea will not lose this game, Champions elect.” Wincast – Pedro to score and Chelsea to win
  • Will – “Chelsea have won last 8 home games. Clean sheet in 6.” Match Outcome – Chelsea
  • Olly – “Chelsea have won their last 8 home matches. Arsenal going to Stamford bridge off the back of losing to Watford. Low on confidence with crowd getting on their backs. Should be a no brainer, Chelsea win.” Match Outcome – Chelsea

Palace v Sunderland

  • Tom – “He’s a confidence player, and score goals in patches, so I reckon he’ll score in front of his own fans. Sunderland will try and be hard to beat, as that’s all they have, David Moyes is creating an Everton reserve team on Wearside. Gibson and Oviedo, have a word!” Wincast – Christian Benteke to score and Crystal Palace to win
  • Will – “Palace are starting to pull things together. Allardyce got his first win v Bournemouth (called it) and made some good signings – Schlupp, Aarnolt, Milivojevic, Sakho” Match Outcome – Crystal Palace
  • Olly – “Christian Benteke has scored more goals against Sunderland in the Premier League than versus any other opponent (7). Reckon he will bag again this weekend.” To score at any time – Christian Benteke

Everton v Bournemouth

  • Tom – “Everton are looking good to me, I reckon they’ll finish a comfortable 7th. I worry for Bournemouth, without Ake in their back four they’re shipping goals for fun, I can’t see their next win at the moment. Home win.” Match Outcome – Everton
  • Will – “Everton are now six league games unbeaten. Only lost once at home all season” Match Outcome – Everton
  • Olly – “Scored 4 goals so far this season and now Everton are playing him as a wing back I think there is a strong chance he will be on the scoresheet against a weak Bournemouth.” To score at any time – Seamus Coleman

Hull v Liverpool

  • Tom – “Coutinho and Mane are back, so that’s huge for Liverpool. Hull are looking more solid at the back recently, but I can’t see them keeping out the pace of Liverpool, I fancy them to get back to winning ways.” Match Outcome – Liverpool
  • Will – “It’s a must-win game. Luckily League position hasn’t been affected too much by their slump in performance (only lost 1 league game in 9 games of bad form) but if it continues they will start slipping out of top 4.” Match Outcome – Liverpool
  • Olly – “Hull have won their last 3 home matches against Liverpool in all competitions. After drawing and beating Man Utd, they have proved their a hard team to play at the moment (can’t believe I’m saying that). Think Liverpool, might edge it but either half win for Hull is great value.” To Win Either half – Hull City

Southampton v West Ham

  • Tom – “Southampton narrowly lost at Swansea in the week, so they’ll not want to get beat again. The Hammers got whacked by City, so they’ll also not want to lose. I can see this one being tight, if any team wins it it’ll be by the odd goal. Going for a draw though, probably a score draw.” Match Outcome – Draw
  • Will – “Southampton have lost 5 of their last 6 and they’ve got lots of key injuries. No Austin, no Van Djik, no Targett. Ward Prowse and Rodriguez are doubts. West Ham only lost 1 of last 5 away.” Match Outcome – West Ham United
  • Olly – “3 of the last 4 home meetings with West Ham have ended in a draw. Both teams are struggling for goals and not playing that well. Reckon it will be a dud with under 2.5 goals.” Match Outcome – Draw

Watford v Burnley

  • Tom – “Confidence will be sky high as they’ve just won at the Emirates. Burnley do not travel well, so a home win looks the most likely outcome.” Match Outcome – Watford
  • Will – “Burnley are bottom of the league for away form and they have been drawing at half time and losing at full time in their last 3 away matches” Half-time/Full-time – Draw/Watford
  • Olly – “Burnley’s away form is SHOCKING. Only secured 1 point away all season. Watford will be full of confidence after 2-1 win at Arsenal and have only lost 2 of their of last 10 home matches in all competitions. Get this one in your acca! Goods odds too!” Match Outcome – Watford

West Brom v Stoke

  • Tom – “Pulls against his old team, and he won’t want to get beat. Stoke looked good against Everton midweek and probably had the better chances. Very even teams in my eyes.” Match Outcome – Draw
  • Will – “West Brom have won 5 of their last 6 home (scoring at least 2 in 5 of those). But Crouchy is a danger at the moment. He’s scored 4 in 5, had his birthday and got into Premier League century club this week.” Correct score – West Bromwich Albion 2 – 1
  • Olly – “This has got bore draw written all over it. 8th vs 9th in the league and both teams are good at playing out draws. Gone for a correct score as I was feeling lucky.” Correct score – Draw 1 – 1

Spurs v Boro

  • Tom – “He’s been quiet the last couple of games, that makes me think that he’s going to pop up and score. I also don’t have him in my fantasy team, so that means he’s bound to score. Boro will be organised and hard to beat, but the spuds will grind them down.” Wincast – Harry Kane to score and Tottenham Hotspur to win
  • Will – “Spurs will be looking to bounce back from disappointing draw with Sunderland. They are still the only team in the league that hasn’t lost at home. Middlesbrough have failed to win their last 10 away matches” Match Outcome – Tottenham Hotspur
  • Olly – “Tottenham have won and scored at least 2 goals in their last 6 home matches. Dele Alli has scored 11 so far this season and I reckon he’ll add to that against a poor Middlesbrough who have failed to win in their last 10 away matches.” To score at any time – Dele Alli

Sunday 5th February

Man City v Swansea

  • Tom – “Swansea look like they’re going to score goals under Paul Clement, but they’re also going to concede them! Gabriel Jesus looks like a player to me, seems to be causing issues as he’s quick, strong and decent in front of goal. City are going to go on a little run of wins I think.” Manchester City To Win And Both Teams To Score
  • Will – “Free kick” Wincast – Yaya Touré to score and Manchester City to win
  • Olly – “Gone very very rogue here with an outrageous correct score. There have been over 2.5 goals scored in Swansea’s last 11 games and City’s last 4 games. Think there will be goals in this, if you want a safer suggestion go for city to win both teams to score.” Correct score – Manchester City 4 – 2

Leicester v Man Utd

  • Tom – “Leicester are desperate for a win, but I can’t see them beating United. Teams seem to have worked Leicester out now, if they can’t get in behind you, then they won’t cause you too many issues. If United score first, I can’t see Leicester getting anything from this, they’re in a relegation battle!” Match Outcome – Manchester United
  • Will – “Leicester have lost their last 3 and conceded at least 2 goals in 5 of their last 6 at home. Zlatan is due a goal.” Wincast – Zlatan Ibrahimovic to score and Manchester United to win
  • Olly – “Leicester have failed to score in their last 4 matches and United have been had under 2.5 goals in their last 4 games. Think this will be low scoring but United will edge it. Zlatan is due a goal too.” Correct score – Manchester United 1 – 0

  • Tom – “Four games. One home win, two draws, and one away win. All seems very plausible to me, sticking £10 on this.” 4 Fold Accumulator – £10 would return £292.94
  • Will – “Chelsea have won last 8 home games (clean sheet in 6). West Brom have won 5 of their last 6 at home (scoring at least 2 in 5 of those). Burnley have been drawing at half time and losing at full time in their last 3 away games. Saints have lost 5 of their last 6 + West Ham only lost 1 of last 5 away.” 4 Fold Accumulator – £10 would return £1,121.24
  • Olly – “My acca of the week, full rationale as to why I chose these will be on WantMyBet TV live on Saturday morning (our facebook page)” 6 Fold Accumulator – £10 would return £834.56
