WMB TV – Episode 32 – Premiership Tips – April 4th & 5th

Tuesday 4th April

Burnley v Stoke

  • Tom – “Even though Burnley lost to Spurs, they’ve been very consistent at home all season. I am not sure which way this one is going to go, but I don’t fancy too many goals.” – Total Goals – Over/Under 2.5 – Under
  • Olly – “There have been under 2.5 goals scored in Burnley’s last 4 home games. Stoke have failed to score in their last 4 away matches. Combine these 2 stats, you wouldn’t think there are many goals in this one.” – Total Goals – Over/Under 2.5 – Under
  • Will – “Burnley’s home form has been good all season. Stoke have won 7 points in their last 19 mid week fixtures.” – Match Outcome – Burnley

Leicester v Sunderland

  • Tom – “Sunderland will go to Leicester to try and be hard to beat (they have nothing else) – I have a funny feeling about this that Sunderland might knick something, but going HT Draw, FT Leicester as the odds are BIG!” – Half-time/Full-time – Draw/Leicester City
  • Olly – “Man is form in a team in form against a team out of form. Should be a dead cert.” – Wincast – Jamie Vardy to score and Leicester City to win
  • Will – “Jamie Vardy has scored 4 goals and assisted 2 in 4 games Sunderland haven’t scored in 5 games. Craig Shakespeare is the first English manager to win his first four Premier League games – only two managers in the competition’s history have won more – Carlo Ancelotti and Guardiola” – Wincast – Jamie Vardy to score and Leicester City to win

Watford v West Brom

  • Tom – “I can’t see too many goals in this. Both teams aren’t exactly prolific, and this could go either way, so under 2.5 goals looks to be the best bet.” – Total Goals – Over/Under 2.5 – Under
  • Olly – “West Brom haven’t won away from home in 5. Watford scraped a 1-0 win against a poor Sunderland on the weekend, but were winless in 4 before then. This has draw stalemate written all over it.” – Match Outcome – Draw
  • Will – “Watford have lost just one of their last five at home West Brom have failed to win in five games away But West Brom beat Arsenal and drew to Utd last 2 games.” – Match Outcome – Draw

Man Utd v Everton

Sunday 2nd April

Arsenal v West Ham

  • Tom – “My standard Arsenal home bet. It’s come in 5/6 times already this season. Carroll will probably score, bu Arsenal HAVE to win! Massive odds for this too, definitely worth a few pounds of anyone’s money.” – Half-time/Full-time – Draw/Arsenal
  • Olly – “Both sides are horrendous at the back…” – Both Teams to Score – Yes
  • Will – “Neither team has been great recently. West Ham have lost their last 4 games by 1 goal.” – Correct score – Arsenal 2 – 1

Hull v Middlesbrough

  • Tom – “Marco Silva has not lost a home game in almost 3 years! Hull are fresh off the back of a massive win against West Ham, so I fancy them to win this. Boro just cannot score goals. Double your money is massive odds for this.” – Match Outcome – Hull City
  • Olly – “Middlesbrough have failed to win their last 14 away matches and haven’t even scored in their last 5 away games. Hull will be confident after their win against West Ham at the weekend.” – Match Outcome – Hull City
  • Will – “Hull are unbeaten in their last 8 home games. Including wins at Man Utd and Liverpool. Niasse has scored 4 in the last 5 of those.” – Wincast – Oumar Niasse to score and Hull City to win

Southampton v Palace

  • Tom – “Massive odds for this. Palace are the form team in the division. Away from home they looks really dangerous on the break, so I fancy them to win either half at St Marys” – To Win Either half – Crystal Palace
  • Olly – “Confidence is a powerful thing. Think Palace will take a load of confidence from their win at Chelsea and bag another win against a misfiring / injury stricken Southampton. Great odds too!” – Match Outcome – Crystal Palace
  • Will – “Palace have won their last 4 and just beat Chelsea. Zaha has scored 2 in his last 3 and looks dangerous. Southampton have failed to win last 3 home games in all comps Plus Gabiadini is doubtful.” – Wincast – Wilfried Zaha to score and Crystal Palace to win

Swansea v Spurs

  • Tom – “Spurs seem to be getting results at the moment, they’re on a roll. I fancy Spurs BTTS, but going a little safer with just a Spurs win.” – Match Outcome – Tottenham Hotspur
  • Olly – “Spurs are grinding out results and will want to keep the pressure on Chelsea after their shock defeat to Palace last weekend. Reckon this will be low scoring but another result for Spurs.” – Match Outcome – Tottenham Hotspur
  • Will – “Spurs are quietly piling pressure on Chelsea at top of the league. Closing the gap after Chelsea dropped points at the weekend. Alli has scored 3 and assisted 2 in his last 4 games.” – Wincast – Dele Alli to score and Tottenham Hotspur to win

Chelsea v Man City

  • Tom – “Surely this is a banker?! I know Chelsea have a good defensive record, but Palace managed to bag two against them, so I fancy Aguero and co to be on the score sheet. Not sure which way this is going to go, I am lending towards Chelsea but playing it safer with just BTTS.” – Both Teams to Score – Yes
  • Olly – “City proved against Arsenal that although they are capable of getting goals they are also weak at the back. Chelsea will want to bounce back from their surprise defeat to Palace with a big win here.” – Chelsea To Win And Both Teams To Score
  • Will – “Chelsea can’t afford to drop more points. Last week will be a kick up the arse. Will be Costa’s 50th goal in the Premier League.” – Wincast – Diego Costa to score and Chelsea to win

Liverpool v Bournemouth
