WMB TV – Premier League 17/18 – Week 21 Tips

Saturday 30th December 2017

Bournemouth v Everton

  • Tom – “Everton are unbeaten in 6, and Bournemouth haven’t won in 6. There could be goals in this, the previous 5 Premier League meetings between these two clubs have produced 22 goals (4.4 per game) – Everton scoring 13 of those and Bournemouth netting 9.” – To Win Either half – Everton
  • Olly – “Everton are unbeaten in the last 7 whilst Bournemouth are winless in the last 8. Tight game here, but I reckon it’s an Everton 1-0 win” – Match Outcome – Everton
  • Will – “Bournemouth have conceded at least 3 goals in their last 3 matches Everton have failed to win 17 of their last 18 away matches” – Match Outcome – Draw

Chelsea v Stoke

  • Tom – “Chelsea have won their last 6 at home on the bounce, Stoke have 4 point from their last 2 games so will be a bit more confident than they were before Xmas, so I think this could be tight until HT, then Chelsea will take over.” – Half-time/Full-time – Draw/Chelsea
  • Olly – “A 2-0 win over Brighton means Chelsea have now won their last 6 home Premier League games, conceding just 3 goals in that time. They are also unbeaten in their last 6 home meetings with Stoke, winning 5. Stoke have won only 1 of their last 10 away league games. Chelsea easy win.” – Half-time/Full-time – Chelsea/Chelsea
  • Will – “Chelsea have conceded just four goals in their last 11 Premier League games, keeping seven clean sheets on the way. Stoke have failed to win 9 of their last 10 away” – To keep a clean sheet – Chelsea

Huddersfield v Burnley

  • Tom – “Huddersfield are decent at home. but Burnley pushed United all the way at Old Trafford. The I reckon this might be a draw, but the odds are too good for Burnley to win just 1 half!” – To Win Either half – Burnley
  • Olly – “Burnley are flying at the moment and will be full of confidence after getting a draw at Old Trafford. Think they will edge this 1-0 but the safer option is Burnley to win either half.” – To Win Either half – Burnley
  • Will – “Only the current top four have won more away points in the Premier League this season than Burnley Burnley almost beat United on Boxing Day. They are currently 7th.” – Half-time/Full-time – Draw/Burnley

Liverpool v Leicester

  • Tom – “He has 6 goals in his last 6 games in the league, which has gone under the radar with Salah banging them in, I fancy him as he’s on fire.” – To score at any time – Roberto Firmino
  • Olly – “Liverpool are flying at the moment and are still unbeaten at home this season. Firmino is looking sharp and finding the net with ease recently. Good value at anytime goalscorer here” – To score at any time – Roberto Firmino
  • Will – “Liverpool are unbeaten in 11 Premier League games Salah has already scored 15 this season.” – To score at any time – Mohamed Salah

Newcastle v Brighton

  • Tom – “Newcastle haven’t scored in their last 2 home matches, and Brighton haven’t scored in their last 4 away matches. I can’t see many goals in this one.” – Total goals – over/under 2.5 – Under
  • Olly – “Newcastle have lost their last 5 home matches and Brighton have lost their last 4 away matches. This STINKS of a draw” – Match Outcome – Draw
  • Will – “Brighton have lost and failed to score in their last 4 away” – Match Outcome – Newcastle United

Watford v Swansea

  • Tom – “Watford are so erratic, but they have to beat Swansea, as they’re awful. SHOULD be a banker, but don’t put it in your acca, as I never trust Watford.” – Match Outcome – Watford
  • Olly – “Swansea have lost their last 7 consecutive games and never won at Vicarage road in the Prem. Can’t see anything but a Watford win” – Match Outcome – Watford
  • Will – “Watford won 2-1 earlier in the season. Swansea have lost their last 7 away matches” – Match Outcome – Watford

Man Utd

Man Utd v Southampton

  • Tom – “Mourinho will be raging about the Burnley result so I think Utd are going to come out all guns blazing against Southampton. I have a feeling this could be 3 or 4. Saints have only won 1 away from home all season.” – Half-time/Full-time – Manchester United/Manchester United
  • Olly – “United are currently in a poor run or form so until things settle down, anything could happen. Southampton are still struggling with goals, and United will want to keep it tight, so reckon it could be a United 1-0/2-0 win. Under 2.5 goals is likely.” – Total goals – over/under 2.5 – Under
  • Will – “United have kept a clean sheet in each of their last three Premier League games against Southampton Man Utd are undefeated in 26 of their last 27 home matches” – To keep a clean sheet – Manchester United
